An early morning blaze at a pot-grower’s house hotboxed an entire block in the Bronx today. One dazed neighbor tells the Post, “It was like the house was a giant weed farm. I thought it was a fog, there was so much smoke.”
BRONX (WABC) — The NYPD has issued an Amber Alert for a confirmed child abduction in the Bronx.
The abduction occurred at St. Lawrence Avenue at 1:00 PM on Tuesday.
The victim is Giavonna Vizard, approximately 1 year 8 months old with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 2 feet and weighs about 30 pounds.
Giavonna was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a long sleeve pink striped shirt, black Air Jordan sneakers, and a black bubble coat with Rocawear lettering in pink on the back.
Police believe she was taken by 13-year-old Lisa Keitt. She is an African-American with short, brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. Keitt was last seen wearing black stretch pants, a black zip up sweatshirt, white and purple sneakers, and a long black bubble coat. She is light skinned.
The suspect is a chronic runaway and took the child from a relatives home following a domestic dispute. Suspect has no known means to care for or protect the child, police said.
Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the NYPD at (866) NYS- AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
