They opened up a new playground near my new apartment and it’s awesome. Too bad they didn’t open it until the end of summer. Vin enjoyed it.

They make a good point of the uselessness of these signs beyond focusing your impatience as you wait on the platform. Last night I stood at the train steps leading up to the 6 in the Bronx. In front of me was a bus stop. I thought, “it would be nice to see that sign that shows when the next train might come so I know if I should wait for the bus down here or go for the train up there.”
In 2007, the New York City Transit Authority began installing LED signs on subway platforms that display estimated wait times for arriving trains. Unfortunately the information is little more than trivia: except for a few stations, it is only visible to travelers after they’ve paid their fare, so the data has little bearing on commuter decision-making.
This excerpt below is true, but the signs haven’t stopped this behavior so far.
These LED signs also threaten historical social behaviors, rendering obsolete the time-honored New York tradition of leaning over the platform edge with the hope of glimpsing headlights from an approaching train.

So this is the situation. My office is located directly in the middle of a lot of drama. The feng shui here sucks.

Spotted this tag on this truck. Is that a Jim Joe?? Doesn’t look like his tag at all. Is it?

Street Fight.
First UP: This dudes is an asshole for punching her like that. I have no idea how this fight broke out or who did what to whom.
BUT … honestly, ladies, don’t go jumping on and punching on a man like that. He was backing up and she kept on him. Don’t throw a punch at anybody if you’re not ready to take one back. At the end of the day, if dude decides to hit you back, you’re going down. Don’t go blow for blow with a man, chica. You can’t win.
